This weekend is our annual Fall Flea Market - and it's also a celebration of the antique mall's 6th anniversary in October!

Kristi Bixby, owner of the antique mall, says, “We have been blessed to survive this many years, despite road construction, pandemic shutdowns, and everything else due to the support of our local community. We are so thankful to have also been voted the Best Antique Mall in the Red River Valley in 2020."

This annual fall event brings numerous buyers to the antique mall’s parking lot which is full of vendors selling vintage furniture, antique crocks, collectible retro toys, local pottery, vintage vinyl, rustic farm house items, repurposed furnishings, mid-century modern decor, and other vintage wares. 

Along with the booths outside, all the vendors inside the antique mall will be having sales as well. The Holiday Hayloft and Tool Shed have been restocked with fresh items - which will also be on sale.

As always, The FARM includes local non-profit organizations in this public event.

"The FARM values being an active member of the Fargo-Moorhead community. Along with supporting all the small local businesses under our roof, we are proud to support local non-profit organizations who serve our Red River Valley,” says Bixby.

The Bluegrass Association of North Dakota (B.A.N.D.), a local nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of bluegrass music in North Dakota, will be in attendance both days of the flea market performing live jam sessions on Saturday and Sunday from noon until 4 pm.

Proceeds from food sales will benefit Downtown Fargo's VFW Post 762.

Both organizations will be accepting donations.

Fargo Antiques & Repurposed Market, aka The FARM, announces its annual summer flea market - with live music this year!

Held the third weekend in June, the annual summer event brings numerous buyers to the antique mall’s parking lot which is full of vendors selling their antiques, collectible toys, vintage vinyl, mid-century furnishings, rustic garden items, repurposed furnishings, and other vintage wares. 

Along with the booths outside, all the vendors inside the antique mall will be having sales as well. The Holiday Hayloft and Tool Shed have been restocked with fresh items - which will also be on sale.

In addition to the antique picking, there will be live music at this year’s June flea market.

The Bluegrass Association of North Dakota (B.A.N.D.), a local nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of bluegrass music in North Dakota, will be in attendance both days of the flea market. B.A.N.D. will be performing live jam sessions on Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm until 5 pm.

And naturally, as an antique mall, we are all about preserving history, which B.A.N.D. is doing. Besides, after the year we've all had, who doesn't want to hoot and holler - maybe even dance a little?”

The FARM’s Annual Summer Flea Market runs Saturday, June 19th, from 10 am until 6 pm, and Sunday, June 20th, from noon until 6 pm. It is free and open to the public.

Fargo Antiques & Repurposed Market is proud to announce that local educator and author Amelia Lemar will be signing copies of her first book, It's Okay: The 8 Things All Children Need to Hear, this weekend at our Annual Flea Market!

Lemar, who teaches fifth-grade in Fergus Falls, has just published her first book, It's Okay: The 8 Things All Children Need to Hear.

It's Okay seeks to address the gaps in mental health education, inspiring and guiding caregivers with tools to better help children build confidence, self-respect, and motivation, leading to greater achievement, success, and happiness in adulthood. The book is not just for teachers, childcare providers, social workers -- it's for parents, parents-to-be, grandparents, and anyone who has or works with children!

Released in late May of this year, Lemar's book has - in just a few weeks - already ranked number one in its category on Amazon!

Attendees of this free event can also hear from the author about her future book plans, which include a series of children's books involving her dog, Maverick, as the main character.

​Amelia Lemar will be signing copies of her book inside The FARM on Saturday, June 20th, from 10 am until 2 pm and Sunday, June 21st, from noon until 2 pm. Limited copies of the book will also be available.

Because The FARM values being an active member of our Fargo-Moorhead community, we've invited our friends at Heidi's Home Rescue to join us. Heidi's Home is a new Fargo dog rescue. You can come to their booth at the flea market and find out more about their services and how you can help rescue dogs - including by dropping off cleaning and pet supplies at this dog rescue donation drive drop-off spot! Heidi's Home Rescue will also have a prize drawing - enter to win a gift package from our local PetSmart worth over $50!​

Worried about the Corona virus? As our FARM friends know, the antique mall is large & social distancing is relatively easy (and we have hand sanitizer at the door, a washroom about halfway through too). Masks are recommended, but not required.

New this year - a food truck! Great eats from Texas Best Express will be available on-site from 11 am until 4 pm on Saturday & from noon until 4 pm on Sunday.
